| 28-5-2009 - Work & Baby | My mood while writing this blog:Just OK |
Hi Girls!
Yesterday was first day back to work in 12 weeks. Coming back was such a drag. It felt like a long weekend rather than 3 months lol but I got through the day somehow. My husband spent his 1st day alone with the baby. Of course I called like 20 times. I miss him so much...being a working mother sucks! But as soon as I got home, I ran to the bathroom to wash my hands, then "give me my baby!!!!" lol I sat with him for a bit, then my Mom came by and she watched him so we could run some errands. After we got home, I sat in my chair, holding Michael, and just cried. It's torture leaving him!!!! I honestly hate it.
So since I've been gone, there have been some major lay-offs in my company. My boss said that his the regional manager was ticked off because I had so many doctor appts when I was pregnant, and that it shouldn't have been tollerated. (Now this guy wasn't the big boss at the time, he only got promoted after I was out on my leave.) But I can't believe his nerve!!! He didn't know the circumstances. I was hospitalized for 3 days with the flu, for beginners. It went downhill from there until I had my baby. Men just don't understand. ::grunt:: Let me see him, or any man, push a baby out (medication free)!!!! Grrrrrr I'm fired up! But whatever...I had a job interview last Monday. But I would have taken more than a 50% pay-cut. So I declined the position even though they really wanted me as an employee. That's another thing, all these companies want great workers but don't want to pay. Sorry, the way this economy is going into the toilet, you gotta go where they money is just to make it day to day.
Now that I'm done complaining :o) I'm at work now, and hopefully today I will be a little stronger than yesterday. Michael is 3 months old exactly today, and we're taking him for pictures when I get out. Hopefully we can get a smile out of him. It's hit or miss, he smiles when noone else is looking lol he's too cute! Talk to you all later!!! Take care :o)
