24-7-2008 - Rolling over one way only On Edge/ ConcernedMy mood while writing this blog:
On Edge/ Concerned

.... So Jayden on knows how to roll onto his tummy, but not back over to his back.. it scares me because he puts his face flat to the ground and cant breathe very well, so now i have to monitor him whenever he is laying on his play mat, cause in 10 secs, he's on his belly... he lifts his head and everything, and upper body, but once he's tired, its a faceplant right into the ground.. he also sleeps in his carseat, and tries rolling over in that.. he has succeeded already once and it makes me nervous. So he CANNOT sleep on his back because he'll def roll over onto his face when im sleeping, and im worried about him in the carseat now... What should i do girls?! Anyone else have this problem? I cannot wait til he knows how to roll back over and stops putting his face into everything!

Abigail is 4 months old and she has been rolling over from her belly to her back and vice versa for awhile now. I think shes been doing it will enough that when she does roll over to her belly when shes sleeping that she knows to turn her head side ways. Give your little guy some experiment room (supervised of course) and see if he can figure it out or if he hasnt already but you havent given him the chance to show you.

Nathan does the same thing, he rolls on to his tummy and can't get back on his back. I finally put one of those wedges for him to sleep in so he can't roll over.
