04-6-2008 - 37 weeks 5 days... 16 sleeps!

My mood while writing this blog: swollen, but accomplished!

FINALLY finished the nursery! pics are up and I'm soooo proud of myself... I am normally the WORST procrastinator ever... of course I still have to iron and pack the clothes I washed on the weekend, but that's all secondary now! now I just have to get off my butt and sort out my labour bag... hospital bag is done though!

Just got back from an amazing weekend away - sooo peaceful, and relaxing. Boy did not like extended periods in the car though, and I had one or two rough contractions, but thankfully I think it was just him letting it be known that this was NOT cool, rather than any actual labour pains... for a second there I was not sure though! Lots of BH the last two days - belly is almost always tight and hard, but not painful at all, and I'm getting good movement from baby, so I'm not worried.

I sent my dear, dear husband on his first shopping trip without me today... complete with full list - right down to the size of things to buy etc... quite sad, because it's something we always do together :( anyway, we'll see how he copes and what he comes back with! lol

I have a friend coming to visit tomorrow and I'm so thrilled - she's also pregnant, and is due on 4 November... I love my time at home, but it's also lonely - I struggle to walk, and can't drive... so it will be so good to see her!

Baby boy is almost here ;)
