| 01-6-2008 - Second Appt-12 wks |  My mood while writing this blog:calm |
So, my appt started out great. My dr is one of the ones I had overseas with my daughter, so she is familiar with my history. That's always a plus! I took my daughter to this appt because all of my sitters backed out, and my husband couldn't get time off of work to go with me, so there began the first inkling of malcontent.
The appt itself lasted 15 minutes. She couldn't get a h/b on doppler, which was fine, because then she did an u/s in order to see that everything was ok. My daughter got to see baby, which was awesome. I didn't get any pics of that u/s, though. That made me a little sad. Now there was no way for my husband to see the baby, instead of an alien monkey. lol
So, Dr tells me I need to make an appt for 4 weeks from then. I wait for 45 minutes in the appt making waiting room, for them to help 3 people in front of me. With a 2 yr old that hasn't had a nap or lunch or anything. I don't agree with it. Well, I finally get to go into make my appt, and the girl asks what it's for. Umm, duh? Then she tells me that the schedule for the month of July aren't out, so she can't book an appt for me, I need to call on fri (yesterday). So I just wasted precious nap time? Are you kidding me? Whatever.
Now, Im in my car, prepared for the 2 hour journey back home. It's rush hour. In the parking garage. Seriously, I waited for 50 minutes...yes, I timed it.....not moving, to get out of this damn ass parking garage. With a complaining toddler. Awesome.
So, that completes my day at the dr. I don't have the energy to get into the drive home. Stupid Cali drivers....and I can say that, cause I'm one of them. Goodnight.
