24-9-2008 - The doctor and my boss

My mood while writing this blog: pretty good

So I went to the doc yesterday and as they say "No news news is good news." I am growing right on schedule. Weight is good, have gained 7 lbs. Urine is good, blood is good. Baby's heart rate is a steady 140 (as always) And really that's it. Everything seems to be running so smoothly. The fetal cardiologist visit is next month and I am so ready to get that over with so that I can relax and ENJOY being pregnant. I am trying not worry but I can't help it. I just want to be "safe" and know he's ok. But I am going to try not to think about any of it and just be happy that my little man is growing happily inside me right now.

My boss called a meeting yesterday. Apparently quite a few people were getting the ax. I was scared outta my mind. Then I get in there and he tells me I am doing a perfect job and that he's happy to have me and he hopes to keep me after the baby. I also found that I have been approved for a raise, and goes on to tell me that they support me completely and anything we need for the well being of baby consider it done. I am gglad that my hard freaking work has paid off. So yay for that!!!!!
