24-9-2008 - So far so good.... ExcitedMy mood while writing this blog:
Excited

I haven't wrote a blog in sometime, so I thought I would try to update everyone the best that I could. I have had 3 appts since the last blog. I had a early ultrasound and 2 checkups and 1 highrisk appt. The early ultrasound was great- everything was right on track and the heartbeat was great. It was right in the range it was suppose to be. The very 1st dr appt was just the noraml bloodwork and papers. My second appt I was completely nervous about. I had already had an ultrasound scheduled but it was 2 weeks from that appt, so I was freaking that if they couldn't find the heartbeat what was I going to do. So when the dr came in I just flat out told her how I wanted things to go - if she couldn't find the heartbeat I wanted my ultrasound moved up to that week or the following, there was no way I was going to wait 2 weeks out to hear something. So needless to say we got started w/ the exam in lady town and then we did the heartbeat,... it was completely amazing, first try she found it. The heartbeat was strong and she just kept saying good baby over and over..... being the sap that I am I got all watery eyed! lol After that appt I have been so much more relaxed. I told myself that I would be but I didn't think I would be as much as I am. lol So this week I did the highrisk appt and to me I feel it was a complete waste of time... He told me nothing different then what my dr has mentioned. To be honest he only had 2 points and he was 30 to 40 min late to the office, then while we were in the middle of our "consult" he answered the phone then hung it up and rolled his eyes. To me it was like I was no different then anyone else there and like I was a lab rat or something. The office was so not even ready for me, they didn't have my records and they kept insisting that my son (blake) didn't make it b/c he was born @ 24 weeks. So when I said he was 10 they just looked at me like I had 3 heads...... I'm waiting for my dr.s office to call me either today or tomorrow about what he recommends for me, but I will be asking if they have someone else I can see. I just felt like I wasn't a big deal...

Other then that I am feeling great, a little on the big side I feel but I have heard you show faster w/ your second then with your first. I already have been put on light duty as far as lifting and activities and etc. I'm not use to being non-active. I played soccer and sports on a regular. I did do some basketball last friday w/ my son and husband and had a great time did some light running and then some air hockey at the rec center.

From the start: The first 2 months were a bear. I had all day sickness. I think dying would have been much better then that. I was so caught off guard with it. With my 1st I didn't have it and with the ms I again had none of it. It was something that I had never thought about. I am just glad it is gone and I have some energy back. I kid you not as soon as I would get off work I would go home and go right to bed. I have had some sore bbs along with them weighing like 100 pds each, hard to run w/ them. lol I think everything else I am going through is the same as the rest. I just can't wait for each appt to get here though. At first I didn't want to know the sex b/c I have waited for this for so long but now I am starting to become totally excited that I don't think I can wait to know what it is. So as of right now we are planning to find out. We have our girls name we just can't find something that we both like. I love uncommon names and something you just don't hear a lot. He digs the common names. I pray its a girl but I love my boys to death, boys are a blast, girls just have more clothes to pick from! :0)

Well enough for now, I will update this time a lot sooner..... ultrasound set for monday the 29th.
