Write a new blog

My mood while writing this blog: Whoopeee! |
So tomorrow I will be a mom! I can't get over the fact that tomorrow is IT! I am so happy that I only have a few more hours of pregnancy left! Don't get me wrong, I'm excited to have a baby, but this pregnancy has gotten OLD. I just want to be able to lay on my back and sit straight up with no help! And wash my feet in the tub without baby going in my lungs!
Such a big life change.... To totally add something else to my life... Now I'll be a daughter, sister, wife, AND mother.
I am pretty nervous about being a mom. I mean, just to add a baby to my routine. What routine? I'll have to make a new routine all together! I'm not nervous too much about labor. except the pooping part lol. I'm really not sure why as it's so common and nobody will care because the staff and dr has been there hundreds or thousands of times... or even gone through it themselves. But I find it a little embarassing lol. Not too afraid of the pain though. More afraid of being a mom. I guess just because I've never been a mom before haha. But I'm sure it will all work out just fine. And Mike is going to be an awesome father. He's already great with kids where as I don't have much experience with kids.
Thanks to everyone for their support for the past 9 months. I feel it's odd since I don't really KNOW any of you, but you girls have been such a big part of my support group this whole time. I can't wait to read all of your birthing stories!
Well, I am going to spend my last few hours of freedom (haha) with my Mike relaxing. We're going out for our "last dinner" for a little while. After tomorrow, we'll have a baby to take care of!

I'm so excited for you - I remember the anticipation to see/hold my little one...Ohhh, enjoy every minute :) ((((hugs)))) PS - have sex today b/c you're probably going to be exhausted for the next few months....just a thought ;) AidensMom6176 -

Wednesday, 15 Jul Awww you will be fantastic, I wish you all the best luck in the world and will be looking out for your birth story and pics.
As for pregnancy being old, believe everyone gets to that stage, then after the baby is born still walks about holding their belly as if they were pregnant. lol. You will miss your bump. It's such a strange feeling, you look at your baby asleep and just try to imagine how s/he looked inside and try to remember the feeling of being kicked.
With both my kids I got really broody straight afterwards, even though my pregnancies were not pleasant, especially towards the end I still really missed it. I would lay in bed and touch my belly and miss my "personal private" time with baby.
Oh and as for getting to sleep on your back or tummy, that can take time. I am a tummy sleeper and couldn't wait, but obviously with milk coming in your tatas get sore, so tummy sleeping was out the question. I think Caiden was about 2 - 3 weeks old before I could properly sleep on my tummy. Oh that was some good sleeping lol.
Good Luck will be thinking of you xxx .bekah. -

I didn't, but I also hadn't eaten much either before I went into labor. Good luck tomorrow and I look forward to hearing about how it went and seeing pics of your sweet little baby :o)
