I AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF MY MOTHER IN LAW CALLING HERE EVERY SINGLE DAY AND SHE DON'T WANT NOTHING AT ALL. SHE IS VERY IRRITATING AND I REALLY HAVE TO PRAY ON THIS BECAUSE I AM STARTING TO REALLY DISLIKE HER. MY HUBBY AND I HAVE HAVING BEEN GETTING INTO IT JUST ABOUT EVERYDAY THIS WEEK BECAUSE OF HER EXCESSIVE CALLING. HE TOLD ME HE WILL PUT HIS FOOT DOWN AND GET IT UNDER CONTROL AND THE CRAP AIN'T WORKING, I TURN OFF THE RINGER AND SHE STILL CALLS ALL DAY LONG IT HAS GOTTEN SO BAD TO THE POINT WHERE MY 10 YEAR OLD SON SAID MOM I WISH YOU WOULD JUST CHANGE THE PHONE NUMBER ALREADY. MY HUBBY SOMETIMES MAKES EXCUSES FOR HIS MOTHER IN ORDER NOT TO HANDLE THE SITUATION AND I TOLD HIM ALREADY IF SHE CALLS HERE BACK TO BACK LIKE THIS WHEN THE BABY GETS HERE AND SHE WAKES HER UP I AM GOING OFF ON HER AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN SAY TO ME BECAUSE I HAVE GIVEN YOU AMPLE AMOUNT OF TIME TO GET THIS CRAP STRAIGHT AND THEN HE TELLS ME WELL I ONLY GOT ONE MOTHER AND I SAID I UNDERSTAND THAT BUT, SHE NEEDS TO LEARN SOME LIMITS SERIOUSLY. I HONESTLY THINK SHE HAS A PROBLEM WITH ME OR SHE MAY BE JEALOUS OF THE RELATIONSHIP I HAVE WITH HER SON, I DONT KNOW WHY THAT IS BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER DISRESPECTED HER THE WHOLE TIME I HAVE BEEN WITH HER SON. SHE DOSENT LIKE IT WHEN ME AND THE HUBBY AND THE KIDS SPEND TIME WITH MY SIDE OF THE FAMILY OR IF WE GO AND SPEND TIME WITH MY MOTHER I HAD TO TELL HER ONE DAY THAT SHE IS NOT THE ONLY FAMILY WE HAVE AND THAT WE DONT NEED TO BE WITH THEM EVERY FREAKIN HOLIDAY. I CAN ONLY TAKE SO MUCH AND I AM GOING TO GO OFF ANY MINUTE NOW. WHAT MAKES IS SO BAD SHE DONT THINK SHE DOING ANYTHING WRONG. EX: SHE CAN CALL AND ASK MY HUBBY TO DO SOMETHING AND HE WILL TELL HER NO AND 5 MINUTES LATER SHE WILL CALL WITH SOMETHING ELSE AND KEEP CALLIN UNTIL HE GIVES IN. U LADIES JUST DONT KNOW HOW IRRITATED I AM BEHIND ALL THIS AND WHAT MAKES IT EVEN WORSE IS THAT SHE LIVES UP THE STREET FROM US. I COULD GO ON FOREVER BUT, I THINK U LADIES GET WHAT I AM SAYING..PLEASE PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ENCOURAGING WORDS FOR I HAVE TO CUT SOMEBODY. OH P.S. THE DAY BEFORE MY BABYSHOWER SHE DECIDEDS TO TELL ME THAT SHE IS JEALOUS CAUSE I AM HAVING A BABY AND THAT SHE WANTS ONE I TOLD HER YOU ARE 54 YEARS OLD WHAT THE HELL U GONE DO WITH A BABY?

Hey- I personally don't have any MIL issues, so I can't speak from experience. Based on what you said, she is jealous of the fact that you are pregnant and she is trying everything in her power to draw hubby out of the house from you-and, if he really is fed up with her making your house phone into a hotline, then he would find a way to tell her. If you tell her it would probably offend her and throw up a red flag in her head to come at you harder. So, hubby is responsible to tell her. She will listen to him before she listens to you- u know? And I am sorry you have to go through this at the end of your pregnancy especially. I used to be sleep and somebody would call, I would throw my cell phone down the hall! Lol. I was a pregnant psycho! Lol

in a way i wish i had this problem. my hubbys side of the family doesn't even call to check on me or the baby but they complain when i don't call them to let them know how we are. the last time i actually talked to them was in october b4 my hubby got home from his deployment in March!! and when we went over there to see them they acted like assholes like they didn't want me there and i think the only reason why they act somewhat normal now is because of kenleigh. oh well i'm done worrying about them. i have better things to worry about! i also agree with what everyone else is saying about you MIL. she's definitely jealous of u!! if your hubby won't do what you need him to do to take care of the situation then you should figure out a way to do it so that she gets the point but doesn't get her feelings hurt to much : ) i bad at these kind of things but i hope some of what isaid helps in some way.

It sounds to me like she told what was wrong the day before your baby shower. Girl shes jealous and unfortunately there isnt anything you can do about it. I take it you must be gettin all the attention (which is what happens when women get preggers). It might come down to you snappin on her just to get her to chill out. But remember that is your mil. I wish I had some better advice for you. Good Luck

OMG why do I have the same problem??? MIL will call the house and if we dont answer will call the cell and if we still dont answer she will call back to back until someone answers the phone...I just dont get it. Im having problems with MIL being so selfish and only thinking about how she wants things and not about anyone else. I told josh the same thing if shes continues to call back to back like that after DJ comes then we are going to have a problem, it dont make no sense for a grown women to sit there and blow her sons phone up over nothing!!!!! I could understand if it was an emergency but heck we would never know if it was or not b/c of hows she does it on a daily bases!!! Lord please help us both!!!
