25-8-2009 - doc visit @ 26 weeks 4 days

My mood while writing this blog:
nervous & happy

Hey all! i went for my doc visit yesterday! He said the boys look well and are growing good so that is great news!! :) i nearly fainted after the darn u/s though! he said it was because i was laying on my back and made my BP drop. I took the 1 hr glucose test also i didnt know i was but i did it.... i really hope i pass because i forgot i had eaten a peanut butter chocolate bar b4 i got to the docs! lol. if not guess its on to the 3 hr test :(. He also said one of the boys is laying head down like he should be (good boy) and the other is completely sideways! ha ha guess he's my troublemaker/stubborn one (gonna be like momma).OK soooo im really nervous becuase i am now going to be going to appts twice a month! It makes me nervous because i realized i am that much closer to having these little guys. I really dont feel ready. I know everything will be fine but im just so scared,worried, and nervous! I hope i am a good mother and will be able to handle it all i pray for that everynight. These boys deserve the best i can be and give. The father has been around a bit more and doesnt seem to hesitate to give/offer money to me. It is good but i still hold a lot of anger towards him. I am trying my hardest to be civil because one way or another i need to be for the boys. It kinda bugs me because he talks about the future as an "us" and a family yet we arent together and god knows what hes doing half the time. I just dont understand his thinking right now. i guess only time will tell. To me its just sad he pretty much missed/is missing out on a pregnancy and of his 1st children at that!

I know exactly how you feel and I have 3 year old daughter. I'm nervous and anxious. Plus my twin girls father lives right up the street from me and he's missing out on my pregnanvy also its very disappointing at times and makes me so upset I cry at times. I only see him every once in a while. He says he will be there financially also and will help purchase things they will need..... I want us to be a family but I know from jump street thats not going to happen :(

glad to hear all is well. i take my test this thursday. can't wait to find out when my next appointment will be. and when i get to get my last ultrasound done. and hope you have better luck with the baby's daddy :) i know mine can be a pain and i'm married to the man. lol. they drive us nuts no matter what. haha.

Glad to hear they are growing well and doing good! My little boy is laying sideways too, I hope he turns soon!! Best of luck with you and the bd situation, I'm sure once he lays eyes on his sons his attitude will totally change :)

I'm glad they are both healthy.. Thats wonderful news.. I hope ur glucose went well, I take mine friday and I'm not looking forward to it.. We are almost there girl and when they do come, our mohterly instincts will jump in and we will know what to do. I'm so excited for u that ur having twins thats awesome.. ALso glad to hear bd is trying to help out.. thats good news.. If you gotta deal with him for the sake of the boys i guess u have to... but just focus on u and the those handsome boys and everything will be fine!!!
