Well, today is just another day at work, and I cannot wait for it to be over!! I really wish I was fortunate enough to NOT have to work, but oh well! My boss was supposed to be off today and tomorrow, but he came in today and that is annoying! Why can't he just go home or something! Pregnancy is the craziest thing I have ever experienced. It's like I have been taken over by the pregnancy! I will be fine, and then my husband might say something that I think sounds like he is being mean or smart, and I will get mad, then he will get frustrated because he doesn't understand why I am mad, then I will start crying like the world is ending! Or, I could just read a question about Baby, like "will you cry when you hold baby for the first time", and just the act of reading the question makes me cry! I am like, of course I am going to cry when I hold him!! I want to hold him now!! Tears, tears...These hormones, sheesh! Today I wanted to try a hamburger from McDonalds (I haven't like hamburgers since I got pregnant), and they didn't put the cheese on my Big & Tasty, so I took it back for a new one, and all they did is slap a piece of cheese on top. Did I cry? Nope. INSTEAD, I got overly irrate and just absolutely FURIOUS!! I brought the burger back to the table where my husband was and threw it down in front of him and said, "THIS IS WHAT THEY GIVE ME!!! I asked for cheese on it, and there is no cheese! And I want cheese! THEN, instead of making me a new burger, they just throw a piece of cheese on here!! Well, I AM NOT EATING IT!!!" I bet the people around us were thinking, that lady is WHACKO! But my husband just sympathized with me and offered to go back and get a regular cheeseburger for me to try. Yea for husband! Now I am sitting here back at work, with three more hours to go, watching the minutes barely tick by on the clock. And Good Lord Almighty, do I have the WORST HEARTBURN EVER!! I have NEVER experienced heartburn in my life, so this is definitely an adjustment. Nothing is helping it! A rolaids softchew only helps for maybe 45 minutes, and even then it doesn't completely relieve it. Man, this heartburn thing can be over with any day now, for real. I can't believe time is moving so slowly here at work!! Most everyday I go through this, wondering how in the world I am going to make it through another afternoon of having nothing to do! Oh, there is work I could be doing, but it is so mind-numbing and does not require any in depth involvement of the brain, so I still end up being bored and time still just barely crawls by. SIGH. Must be a complaint day for me!!
