05-6-2008 - Being pregnant doesn't mean a thing at my work!!!

My mood while writing this blog: irritated, uncomfortable

Well, being pregnant at my work affords you no sympathies!!! Our downstairs restroom has been out of service for two weeks now, and no one will doing anything to get it fixed. So I have to walk up TWO flights of stairs just to pee, which all of us pregnant women know, is OFTEN. Not to mention that inter-office mail has to be routed every hour, which means going up those stairs for that too! PLUS our fax machine is UPSTAIRS! I am so tired of stairs. Also, we have rows and rows of filing cabinets where filing has to be done everyday - and it's getting to be a REAL PAIN to have to bend over to put things away in the bottom drawers! I am constantly waddling here or there in this place just to get things done. Not to mention I am TIRED, my back is KILLING ME, and my feet are SWOLLEN!!! 5 days a week of this crap. I know there are people out there who have it worse than me, and I don't see how you do it. I don't see how I am doing right now!! And I have to work right up to the day that labor starts pretty much, so that TOTALLY sucks. No relief in sight. Only about 11 more weeks, and I will DEFINITELY welcome that time off - I don't care that it means pushing a HUMAN out of the nether regions!!! BRING IT ON, it cant be as bad as being here everyday!!!
