| 03-2-2010 - 4 weeks 4 days | My mood while writing this blog:just peachy |
YAY! Still so excited that I am pregnant. Hurray! Still haven’t told anyone except my work and one friend of mine. I read about a cute idea for telling family – have everyone get together for a family photo and tell them to say “cheese”. Then, for the second picture, tell everyone to say “Lisa’s pregnant” – then snap the picture, lol! I think that would be a fun way to do it. We’ll see if I can get everyone together. If not, then I think the plan will be to an ultrasound picture in the mail to everyone, even though we all live close together! I never get mail that isn’t a bill or junk mail, so I figure who wouldn’t like to get something fun in the mail!
Feeling great so far. Of course, 4 weeks 4 days is really probably too early to feel any symptoms anyway. My first pregnancy I started having morning sickness about 5 ½ weeks, so I’m kind of looking to see how next week goes! I’m tired but by no means exhausted. Actually sometimes I wake up at night and start reading a book! I do have some kind of hot flashes though. Any little bit of movement can make me feel really hot! Putting my son in his pjs – I’ll be perfectly fine to start then by the time I am done I am almost sweating, lol. I’ve got little pulling feelings in my uterus, I am sure because I’ve already had a baby and my body is already on track to start making room for baby #2. Once and a while a sharp pain if I bend over too fast or something like that. Sometimes I feel a teeny bit nauseated in just a split second, and it passes like 5 seconds later. Not sure what that’s about, but hey if that is as bad as it gets I’d love it! I’m sure it’s the calm before the storm, lol.
Still on track to be surprised with the gender whenever baby is born. I have moments where I am on the fence though, because my husband IS going to find out and I’m afraid he’ll accidentally spill the beans to me in a very unintentional way. Plus, I want him to enjoy the pregnancy and don’t want him to feel too pressured by his big secret, LOL! I’ll let him decide if he thinks it is too big of a burden though. I still think it would be the most fabulous surprise to have the baby and have the doctor say “it’s a boy!” or “it’s a girl!” when I had no idea what the sex is! Only time will tell!
ONE MONTH exactly til my first appointment for this pregnancy! I am excited. I can’t wait to see my little baby floating around in there! And to hear baby’s little heartbeat. I’m sure I’ll be a big baby and cry, lol, now that I know what a joy it is to be a mom! I remember being teary-eyed with Chathum, but ever since I had him I am more emotional, lol! My little man is going to have a baby brother or sister! YAY!
