| 19-2-2010 - Finally!! | My mood while writing this blog:Feeling good! |
Who would have thought anyone would get excited over BOOB PAIN!!! but here I am, cheering! Finally I have a solid symptom here! I had cramping/pulling pains until about 6 weeks, then nothing for days. NOTHING! Today I have sore boobs, mostly sore around the nip area. I am THRILLED! I've been waiting for something to make me feel more secure with this pregnancy (considering the first time I had every symptom in the book), one of those 'REAL' symptoms that didn't make me wonder - one that I could directly relate to saying - YES, THIS IS A PREGNANCY SYMPTOM. Hurray!
So, looking over this pregnancy, I have little symptoms but not obvious symptoms. (til today - obviously sore boobs, yay!). It's been really easy for my lower back to become sore over the past few weeks (matter of fact, it's sore right now). But I couldn't pinpoint this to be caused by pregnancy. My face has been broke out like crazy, but again, I can't necessary pin this on pregnancy. I've had about 3 or 4 times right around bedtime where I would feel kind of nauseated and dizzy - but it would only last for about a minute - so no way am I considering this morning sickness, so who knows if I can really consider pregnancy to blame. I've got a definite case of bloating going on, so much so that I busted a button off my work pants -LOL- so I've moved into more comfy maternity pants (I'm sure it's something to do with the fact that this is my 2nd baby, so maybe I'm just going to be poochy earlier!) - but this still doesn't ease my mind that everything is okay in there. I've been more hungry and yet nothing sounds good to eat, LOL! I've gained 2 lbs so far (only 7 weeks - eek). And of course I have 3 positive home pregnancy tests (2 normal and 1 digital) and I missed my period - so I know I am pregnant - but it's just needing that solid, this-is-a-symptom-beyond-a-doubt thing to make me not worry so much about what if something is wrong, what if something happened to my baby, why don't I FEEL pregnant. I can say with pride today that my boobs got sore!! HURRAY for baby!
On a different subject regarding pregnancy, I wonder what the sex of this baby is going to be! I know I will be happy either way, but I do think it would be really great to have a girl so I can have one of each! I know my husband REALLY wants a girl next, since he got his boy like he wanted first. Ideally for me I will have a girl this time and our final child would be another boy. I'd love to have two boys and one girl. (Boy, girl, boy) But of course, no one is in control of these things, so what I get is what I get, and I will be happy no matter what! I love my son to pieces - he is my favorite person in this whole world (I love my husband too, LOL) and I just can't imagine how it's going to be to add either a brother or sister into our little family! Well, it's going to be great, of course, LOL - and I am so happy he will have a sibling!
I am ready to get this day over with so I can go home and spend the weekend with my baby and my husband (well, spend the time we have together before he goes to work each night anyway). After the weekend is over, I can finally say "I go to the doctor next week"!! Hurray! As of today, I have 12 days til my appointment! I will have my ultrasound at 9:30 and my appointment at 10:00. I am ready!! I made the appointment on Jan. 27th, but the office doesn't see anyone til between 8 weeks and 10 weeks. I should be 8w4d when I go in. Of course my due date could change based on the baby's measurements, so til then I am going by my dates! It's been 24 days since I made my appointment - I can't believe I have gone crazy from waiting, LOL. I am soo ready to see my baby on the ultrasound and hear the heartbeat!
