My mood while writing this blog: nervous and happy |
Ok.. ladies so it's saturday night and I just got back from the movies. We saw the 3-d valentine (it was awesome). I usually love the weekends and don't want them to end because it's the only time that I really see nathan for the whole day and night. But I have my appointment on monday (my first one with my ob) I feel like I have waited a lifetime for this appointment. I don't remember ever feeling like this when I first got pregnant with Anthony. I want so bad to be excited and I am but I am so nervous. I want to make sure everything is ok. I don't want to go in there and have the doctor rush through everything especially the U/S. I hope they take their time especially being my first appointment. I know how some doctors rush through the patients because the dumb receptionist double books...ugh.. I feel like I keep obsessing over this but I know it's just my nerves..Any words of encouragment and refresher of what they are probably going to do when I go in. Nathan is coming with me so that's good and I think that they will have some questions for him. They did for Anthonys dad but that was like 7 years ago. So yeah if anyone has any advice on all of this please let me know, ugh I can't wait until monday!!! thanks to all!!

Sunday, 18 Jan Well the first appointment will be your longest one all others after that won't be as long...If I remember correctly they will probably do a medical and pregnancy history, check the babies heartbeat and other things to do with you stomach, breast examination, Pap test and then If you want an ultrasound to find out the due date of the baby then he will give you papers to book an U/S. Good luck!
