15-11-2008 - Aviana [ 11 weeks old ]

My mood while writing this blog: relaxed =]

My little Minnie is 11 weeks old! Yay. She is getting so big! I know I say that all the time but she is getting bigger and bigger every day! Yesterday at her re-check for being sick she weighed 11 lbs. 8 oz... she is a chunky monkey! I love her so much. She now sleeps through the night. Basically from 10 or 11pm to between 6 or 8am. Isnt that so good? I am really happy about it. But I dont wanna jinx myself.

I feel bad sometimes.... once in a while she will be fine and then all the sudden burst out crying really hard. It breaks my heart but I donno why she does it?? But she is really starting to be happy when she sees me. Like in the morning when she sees me for the first time she smiles soooo big. Its the best feeling in the world. She is amazing. She is also kicking alot now when shes excited. Ohhhhhhh, I love her so much lol.

Last night when I was putting away all her clean laundry I decided that her newborn clothes should be put away now =(. That was hard to do... but I didnt cry lol. It was sad though. I was looking at ther little outfit she wore for her hospital picture when she was 3 days old and I just felt so sad that shes gotten so big. But I put that away... along with her Halloween pjs and pumpkin costume, all of her onesies except for my 3 favorite ones (in case I run out or something before laundry day), and all the sleepers because her legs are too long now. Most of her newborn stuff DOES actually fit but it is hard to get her second arm in and she gets mad... like width wise, she still has room in the belly and length wise it fits too. I donno, Im trying my best here to figure things out as a new mom lol.

My dad is coming today. Finally. So that will be nice for him to see Aviana. Now I just have to give her a bath and pick out some kind of fashionable outfit lol. I wanted to make her a bow for her headband to match whatever shes wearing but my hubby misplaced both pairs of scissors so I guess not lol. I have to finish making bottles anyway. I also have to buy some medium flow nipples. I cant find them anywhere. They are so expensive at BabiesRUs. Walmart has them for so cheap but NO medium. Grrrr.

Very rainy day today... so I am happy to be home, no shopping... nothing. Aviana looks so silly right now... she is on our comforter on the living room floor and the boppy is around the head and arms lol. She is right next to me so its okay. But she just looks so silly. I got a really cute picture of her last night (above). I love when she is sleeping... she looks so peaceful and beautiful =). Last night I ordered a little Disney Princess journal online. I figured since I am always writing here, I should keep a journal for her, written to her. One day she'll appreciate it =).
