23-4-2009 - 31 week belly pic and update!

Ive posted my belly pic for this week in my album. Im measuring exactly right for dates at 31cm but i feel enormous! Have a gander see if you think i look any different. I get so many people coming up to me at my kids schools saying "wow youre massive" and then the other half say " wow youre so tiny for 31 weeks" ...... i really dont know what to think anymore lol. Im definately smaller this time than i was with my daughter at this stage but i feel pretty huge!

Had my anti-D shot at the hospital yesterday which was most stingy and nasty and i had all my blood works done. Got to hear his heartbeat and was measured which shows im the right size for weeks.

Next monday i have another ultrasound to find out how much the little guy weighs now and to get an estimate for his expected full term weight as i tend to have quite large babys.If hes a whopper they'll be pushing me towards a c-section which id really rather not have, so keep your fingers crossed i'll have a very average size baby lol

Ive started getting very strong braxton hicks regulary now and my pelvis is starting to become extremely painful if i stand or walk too long. When i sit down baby goes so high under my ribs i cant breathe and hes kicking me so hard i can see heels , elbows and allsorts protroding from my belly, so cool :) And all very normal for 31 weeks. Apart from aches and pains im feeling fab and starting to get very excited as well as nervous! If i do my usual 38 week pregnancy, i could be holding this little man in 7 weeks...instead of 9.The time has flown with this pregnancy,so fast its shocked me almost as much as discovering i was pregnant in the first place lol. People keep saying, you must be so fed up now...but in all honesty its gone so fast i cant believe im 31 weeks .... im almost not ready...so total oppisite, not fed up at all yet :)

Husband cracks me up...he phones me like 5 times a day when hes at work to check im not twingeing lol, youd think 4th time round he'd be less twitchy...very cute hes still nervous and excited like its the first :)
