09-6-2009 - 38 weeks!!

My mood while writing this blog: Hopeful !

Saw midwife yesterday, she says baby is 3/5 engaged and that my cervix is ripe and totally effaced, so she doesnt think i will last out the week!! I usually come at 38 weeks so im hoping she is right.

Also im only measuring 38cm on my fundal height this week which means baby hasnt gotten too much longer in the last 2 weeks when i was also measuring 38cm and panicing he'd grow to monstrous proportions, so im measuring right for dates now! PHEW!!! Hopefully only a 8 1/2lb baby after all :)

Braxton hicks are becoming unbearable, as is the weight of babys head in my pelvis..he traps some major nerves that make me scream out like ive been kicked by a grown man in the crotch...so not a nice thing to do to mummy little guy lol. His head is causing so much pressure also that im walking in the most ridiculous way as its just so uncomfortable when gravity takes hold....so not attractive and so ouchy! :(

Im so ready to meet him, i cant wait. Kids are SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited its like xmas is coming in my house lol..................ALL we need now is a NAME for this little guy...GULP...the pressure is on !!!
