02-12-2008 - Michael, 8 months

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Ok, so I am a few days early, but Michael will officially be 8 months old on Saturday! 8 months ago I was sitting in the hospital thinking I was going to be there for a couple of months until my baby was born!

It is so hard to imagine how much he has changed in these past months. From my little peanut in an incubator, to my big boy who now has teeth on the top and the bottom! He rolls both ways, and more than once at a time. He scoots all over the place on his back, and on his belly in the crib. He is starting to realize he wants to crawl and can't quite do it and gets angry!

He is also really starting to play interactive games like peek-a-boo, and this little piggy. He is at such a wonderfully fun age right now!

From time to time, I love to compare these pictures to see what the little man has overcome already, so bear with me for posting them again.

It's hard to believe how time goes by and our little babies are becoming little people. And Michael it's one strong little one. I love how happy he looks on that pic, it's the perfect Christmas picture!

It is so strange that we haven't even met and yet I feel like I know little Michael. I feel like I've been there from the beginning, from rooting for him to be healthy and grow when he was first born to being so proud of how big he's grown and what a doll he is now! It's amazing how knowing someone on a message board can really touch you the same way as knowing someone face-to-face. I feel so blessed to have all of my friends on i-am-pregnant. You are one of the first and dearest! :)
