23-7-2009 - 28 week appointment and U/S

My mood while writing this blog:
HAPPY

Ok today i had my 28 week appointment and U/S. In the past month i have gained 4lbs which is good i guess. Everything with me and baby are good. Just back pain every so often. I told my doctor and she said to get use to it, cause i'll have it until after i have her because of the shift of weight mainly. Oh well i'll live with it (i don't have a choice). lol

My U/S went good, but couldnt get a good 4D pic because she had her head pressed into the placenta and she wouldn't move for anything. I guess she was just very happy in that spot. She's sorta head down already which is good, but she can still turn the other way if she wants cause she still has the room.I also had the tech triple check to make sure she is a girl. So yess 100% girl no doubt.The tech said she looks very healthy and could even end up being good size when we do the c-section at 38 weeks. I cant wait. Also I asked about her weight, she is weighting in at 2lbs and 9oz. So she might end up being around 7 or 8lbs. by the time i have her. At least she'll be bigger than my last one. He was 2 weeks late and weighted only 6lb 3oz.

So all is good. I get another U/S done at 36 weeks to check her growth again. cant wait.

Well thats how my appoinment went. I hope all you ladies are doing good out there too. If you know the weigth of your's please let me know so i can compare the weight to mine. Thanks and take care.

Glad to hear you and your little one are doing well and that she's still a girl ;0). I have back pain as well, I know how you feel, I've also started having stomach ligament pain when I'm on my feet for to long. I'm assuming it's because Hayden is growing, the position he's laying or gravity is pulling my stomach downward...whatever the reason is, IT HURTS!

I'm so glad to hear your appointment went good. At my 27 week appt. my baby weight 2lbs. & 4oz.. I have my 29 week appt. Tuesday, to check my glucose . I will be making a appt. for our 4d ultrasound around 32 weeks, I can't wait ! =) Take care

Don't worry about the weight. My daughter was born at 40 wks 4 days and she was 4lbs 13oz. Absolutely beautiful. Sorry you didn't get the pics you were hoping for. Can you go back again?

i want another u/s!!! i have my 28 week apt on mon its my glucose test... i have never been told what any of my babies wieghed :( oh well. i have been having so many braxton hicks OMG i never had this many with the boys also they're kinda uncomfortable and omg dont even get me started on my swollen hoo hoo pain lol my hubby is like stop your gross! hahaha i need to ask my doc about it mon. glad your apt went well! that sucks she wouldnt move her hed :s thats what Ellie was doing too but finally right before the lady was done she turned to the side she took the pic and that was the end. did you guys decide to go with Bella or dont know yet?

my girls weight at 24 wks was abt 2 lbs lol but then my hubby n i who hv polynesian and viking ancestry hv bn told by several doctors that the baby will be big...nt what i want to hear when thinking abt delivering haha but shes healthy aye...goodness knows what she weighs now. anyway all the best with your pregnancy, sounds like u and ur baby r doing well so far :)

Hi there, i had my 4D scan at 29w and 3ds and my little boy weighed 4lb 1oz - Hes a big boy! lol If i go full term he will be a 9lber :o) *ouch* x

congrats on everything going good...i wish i could know the weight of my baby right now. last time she was measured was at 24 weeks and she was 1.7 lbs already...i don't know if she's still growing that much but i hope she's doing good. i get another u/s here soon, can't wait!! but i'm very happy for you, nice big healthy baby :-D

Great that everything is going so well. The 7lb mark sounds like a good size to me! My husband was HUGE when he was born. Not sure if the exact weight but around 12lb or more! He was weighed on dodgy scales! All the best!
