11-6-2009 - Should I be Worried?

My mood while writing this blog: Worried

So yesterday morning I got a call from my doctors office...

They scheduled me for another U/S because "they didnt get a good picture of the babys spine"...

I am really nervous, but trying not to be... yikes...

Has anyone else ever heard of this sort of thing? And what was the result?

Im really scared. I need some reassurance, BIG TIME.

In other news, I had my last appt with my GP, it was a waste of time. She didnt even tell me anything about the baby or anything, she put the heart monitor on for like 10 seconds (she doesnt even know i have my own, so you would think she would have tried to make it something special for me and Shannon)...

I asked her what she thought about me gaining 16 lbs already, and she was like, well, some people say you should only gain 20, but as long as you dont go over 30... what an idiot. Obviously if i carry on like this i will be more than 30 lbs up by then end...

She also doesnt know how to use that wheel thing that tells you when you are due. She always tell me "youre around _____ weeks, and she is always off by 1 week. She is so stupid. I just wait for her to leave the room and then i use it myself.

On a more positive note, I get to see my OB on July 3, it will be SO much better. I already know him and he is super nice and goes over everything with you. He is never in a hurry. He is a great doctor, who actually knows what he is talking about.

So, back to my original concern... anyone have anything to say about the follow-up U/S?
