07-4-2008 - Pregnant and Alone

Well, so far I've been feeling great during my pregnancy; however, sometimes I get really really lonely. The baby's father is not around - not by his own choice, but by my own choice. When we met, we just partied all the time - drank it up and smoked, consumed our drugs of choice. I guess that's why I ended up getting pregnant. It is the best thing that's ever happened to me, for sure.

I quit everything. I don't have any interest in it what-so-ever, even after the baby is born, I just know I won't be going back to that lifestyle - he, however, wants to and does continue to live that way.

So, I just lost all my attraction to him and I will definitely let him see his child when/if he's sober, but being preg and alone, it's kinda lonely. I have my wonderful family, but besides that, I am lonely. It would be nice to share the excitement with my baby's father, but I've found it to be pretty impossible.

Oh well
