07-6-2008 - I\'m REALLY pregnant

My mood while writing this blog: EXCITED

Since I found out about my pregnancy, it never really registered until I actually felt the baby move. I remember the exact date, it was March 27th and 11:49pm. I was sitting on my bed talking on the phone to my mother when all of a sudden I felt this little strange tingly feeling.. it was so weird that I even shivered. I told my mom that I felt the baby move and told her what it felt like. I was sooooo happy. Now, I'm 6 months and I mean he is sooo active. It makes me so happy to be pregnant! Feeling him moving inside of me makes me feel so connected to him. I just can't wait until he gets here so I can hold him close to me and feed him and bond with him. I love my baby so much!! Two more weeks and I'll be going into my 3rd trimester!!! OMG time is flying by so FAST!

You're going to miss being pregnant too. Trust me! The first few weeks after my son was here I would just look at him and go, "WOW, you were in here!" And I would point to my belly. I missed his kicks in the morning and feeling him "roll" across my belly when he had the room. However, holding him now is 100 times better! He's six months old now and I cannot believe how fast he's growing. He's not as interested in breastfeeding anymore, but I'm okay with that. I still do it every now and again. Breastfeeding really bonded us and I'm glad I did it. Nothing like looking at that little one while he gets his nourishment from you. I strictly breastfeed for the first month and half he was alive but then had to supplement when I returned to work when he was 5 weeks old. I hated going back so early, but financially I had too. Hopefully with the next one, I can stay out a little longer. Best of luck to you and be blessed.
