01-8-2008 - I'm HOT but HAPPY!!

It is sooooo HOT here in Mississippi!!! To be honest, I had been in Washington for 2 years and I forgot how hot our summers were here in the MS!! Well, it's home.. LOL!!! Anyway, I'm so excited about my little son coming! I've already got my hospital bag ready!!! I know I have like 8 weeks to go.. but I just want to be prepared!! He's been rolling around and punching and jabbing me like CRAZY!! Last night, I had my hand on my stomach while I was laying in bed reading and I'm telling you he stretched his foot out so far I know my hand lifted at least about 5 inches!!! I'm serious!! LOL!! I'm so happy that he let's me know he's there. I'm getting more and more nervous everyday though because it means that I'm getting closer to bringing him into the world. I've decided that I was going to have an all natural birth without any drugs and I've decided that I wanted to nurse him myself. I hope I can be strong enough to push him out without any help!! Right now as I'm typing his, he's on the move!! God, I feel so blessed! At first when I found out I was pregnant, I was VERY sad.. I was sad because I'm young, I was still in college and I was living in WA at the time and I was practically alone.. at first I didn't feel a bond between the baby and I. I just felt like I was carrying a burden.. but now it feels like my eyes are open and I feel so refreshed and I'm just so happy! I feel so close to him.. I almost want to cry every time I think about holding him and playing with his little fingers and toes! I'm just excited and I hope that other mothers feel the same way.
