14-8-2008 - Baby Shower

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

I know I am a little late writing this but I just had to put my thoughts down about the baby shower! It was wonderful! We played a lot of FUNNY games and it was soooo FUN!! One of my favorite games was The Bottle Races.. omg if neither of you ladies have ever played it then you should! It was soooo funny.. you get bottles and fill them up with milk or whatever you like.. there was milk in our bottles.. lol they had to drink them down as fast as they good within two mintues and they had to do it as if they were babies.. the funniest part about it was the fact that the milk was SOY milk!! OMG I never laughed so hard!!! The cake was soooo good and the food was delicious. I had the time of my life. I got, well my SON got so many presents.. I'm so excited about everything! I've already gotten his bassinet set up and I've started taking pictures of all of his stuff! I know it sounds a little silly, but he's going to be here soon!!! I have about 5 weeks left and I'm going to be holding my son in my arms! I'm experiencing all of these emotions and OMG it's wonderful! Anyway, back to the shower.. it was great and I couldn't have been happier!

Your excitement is catchy. I'm so happy that you had a wonderful baby shower. I peeked at my registries yesterday and saw that two items have been purchased. People got their invitations on Monday. The part about holding your son, I know and feel the same. I asked my dh last night to tell me what he looks the most forward to with our baby, and he asked me. I told him that I most look forward to holding her, kissing her, and squeezing her. I should have also added and smiling at her.
