| 16-1-2009 - Didn\'t know it would hurt like this | My mood while writing this blog:sore |
So normal Thursday at work or so I thought...All hell decides to break loose and I had problem after problem (I'll leave it at that since if I would say what really happened, not many would understand what I was saying.) After it seems like everything is coming under control, and I'm keeping in contact with my peers to let them know that altho I'm a mile away, I'm in a better position than they are.
I had just gotten off the phone with one of my peers when I felt what I could best describe as someone ripping a piece of paper in half. I went to my knees then down to my side and screamed bloody murder. I must have scared all of my employees because they were on the phones, radios and just screaming for someone to do something.
I ended up crawling to the staris and was going to scoot down them but I think the pain would have been so much more. My covering boss shows up in the bathroom (1st place I go to make sure I wasn't bleeding or anything) sees the look on my face and says that she's calling 911. I'm like, no, just let me sit down for a bit. She calls security, puts in the plan to get the paramedices in (I work in and FAA controlled enviroment) and then calls my bosses' boss.
My bosses' boss, Pearl, comes down to where I am and says, "that's it Dora, you're not going back to the sort. I'll find something else for you to do." I get teary eyed again, I was really a basket case of emotions and asked her to tell everyone to stop fussing over me and to just let me go home. She didn't want to listen so I called my OB. She said well, at least go get checked out. She wasn't even on my side!
I get to the hospital and they couldn't find baby A's HB. (Could be the extra roll of fat that I have cushioning it
)
Then the doc comes in and says that my since my stomach is tender all over in addition to the one tearing area that he is going to transefer me to another hospital (2 blocks away
) I get taken over there (in -14 degree weather) and they couldn't find Baby B's HB. So I'm at least somewhat better since I have heard both HB's. That is until the girl at registration pissed me and the nurse off and sent my BP up. But that's another story.
So what I'm getting at is that I have torn round ligaments, baby a is head down, baby b's head in in baby b's belly, both had wonderful hb and mommy is in pain. I am taking baby steps and not taking the stairs in my house. I cried in pain this morning as I layed in bed not being able to find a comfortable position. As a person that doesn't like to take meds, I am faithfully taking the pain pills that they prescribed.
