09-5-2009 - Tired of the in and out OkMy mood while writing this blog:
Ok

I just got home from the hospital. I was in for 2 days. At 1st I was there because I had a headache and my BP was up. Well while I was there, Baby B decides to have a decell in her heart so they kept be because they wanted to monitor her. Well you can't monitor one without the other and while B was good, A decided to take her decell...these girls are drama queens! But al lis good now, I am very shocked that they released me.

About 4 am when I finally fell asleep I started having heard palpations. I had had them before, but never had any witnesses. So the nurse calls my OB and got me a EKG, the cardiologist looks it over and determines that I am having an "extra" heart beat??? Still not understanding what that means, but my OB still released me and I have to go back on Monday to pick up a halter heart monitor...The way I see it, it isn't that big of a deal, now we know everything is big, but not to terribally anxious, if they wanted/needed for me to stay and be monitored it would have happened. But she said that I can just come pick up the monitor thingy on Monday and bring it back on Tuesday.

All I can say is God it good. I am 31 weeks and really didn't think that I would make it this far with them. good news is that she said she would go ahead and deliver me in 3 weeks!

oh and the girls weigh 4lb1oz and 3lb 10oz. both are measuring big for gestional age!

glad everything is okay.

I've had heart palpatations with two of my pregnancies, the twins one especially. I used cream of tartar, which is potassium based. I took about 1/2 teaspoon a couple times a day. And everything cleared up. Midwives use cream of tartar for high blood pressure to. I've always used it to control yeast infections in my milk ducts. Anyways, it's something you cook with and won't harm the babies.
