02-9-2008 - Went to the doctor\'s today...

My mood while writing this blog:

Hi everyone... well I went to the blood specialist and he gave me a prescription for Lovenox and also a blood test to ck if I'm preggo. Then I called my obgyn (AGAIN) and told them that I have the scrip but I'm spotting so she made me go in for bloodwork also! The nurse told me that I didn't need to give a urine specimen so I went to the bathroom (still lil brownish when I wipe) but then when I went to talk to my doc she said she wanted me to do one!!! AHHHH I just went to the stupid bathroom!! I literally gave them 4 drops (barely). She said it came out positive but faint... ok whatever! =(

I get both results back tmrw. How annoying is this!!! Watch me wake up tmrw morning with stupid AF!!! I should have NEVER tested and then I wouldn't have gotten so freakin excited. I think I jumped the gun on this one!!! =( I am still hoping that it's just implantation but honestly I am looking at this two ways! Hopefully I will get a nice phone call tmrw!!! I will def keep you all posted!

I had a brownish discharge with this pregnancy and the Dr. told me that it is just old blood. And when I had it I had gone to the E.R and they told me most women who get it is from implantation so I ouldn't worry about it. I'm now 19 weeks and my baby has been measuring up and everything. So don't stress about it it will only put stress on the baby. Im sure everything is fine!! g/l

Cyndy, I hope everything will be alright. I really do remember I had the brownish blood in the beginning. I hope all is well. Hey, don't they have a nurse ho explains how to use the Lovenox and all that or did they just say "here's your prescription" and good luck to you? I had a nurse who explained where to put it to me, my husband, and my mom. She told me about putting ice on the spot and couple of mins before we poked it in, etc. Did they give you that lesson or what? Are they having you put the needle in yourself in the belly or having someone else do it on the upper parts of your butt (lovehandles)? Let me know

I hope you get good news but if not maybe it will happen next month. That's what I have to believe. And I'm NOT going to test early this month, I can't bear the let downs again x
