15-9-2008 - ultrasound

My mood while writing this blog:
I guess ok

Sorry it took me sooo long to post, but I tried to on my phone and of course it froze when I tried to save it! huh!!

Anyways... all we saw was a yolk sac, according to her she said it looks good. She then continued to tell me that it was too soon to tell the progress of the pregnancy. She did mention that it was an in-utero pregnancy so that's good. I just feel like my mood icon! LOL... Hopefully when she gets the blood results back she will give me better news! If the levels aren't where she thinks they should be I know she'll stress me out!! She said they should be in the 5 digits (even though from my last one if I doubled every 48 hours would only bring me in the 4,000's???)

Well we shall see what tomorrow brings! She did tell me not to worry myself bc it is still early and then continued to say that's why she normally waits until the 8th - 9th week, but since I have been antsy she did it for me! lol...

Now I have an appointment for October 7 in the MORNING! I'm going to take a half day and go into work later... you know what... I'm taking a full day! screw it!!! lol... By then I will be exactly 9 weeks soooo hopefully it will be more than a yolk sac! and I will be able to see my baby and heartbeat!

Trying to stay positive... just so hard when sooo many things have gone wrong in the past! I thinking maybe I ovulated a day or two or three later than I thought so that's why nothing was seen. I thought at 5 wk 6days we would have been able to see a bit more. I just hope that's my reason why and nothing bad will turn out!

YOLK SAC.THAT INDICATES THAT ALL IS WELL AS WELL AS THE IN UTERO.I HAD MY FIRST SCAN AT 7 WEEKS AND STILL COULD NOT SEE MUCH BUT AT 9 WEEKS U WILL DEFENITLY.MY 23 WEEK BIG SCAN IS ON THE 6TH OF OCTOBER,I REALY CANNOT WAIT.WE WILL THEN BE 100 % SURE OF THE SEX AND THE DUE DATE.SOOO LETS COUNT THE DAYS DOWN TOGETHER.STARTING AT DAY 21.LOL .HOW U FEELING.

Try not to stress yourself out girlie. That's not good for you! Sounds like going good so far, besides the scarey spotting here & there! Keep us posted on the blood results.

Well a yolk sac is great news! By the end of this week I bet the little bean will start to progress and by the next appt., you will get to see him/her :) Isn't it amazing that our job as a Mommy really starts at conception, all of the worrying and love that we give before the baby is even the size of a kidney bean! Just take some deep breathes and put some positive energy and thoughts out there and I am sure everything will be great!

That's the best news. The yolk sac has got to have that little bean growing away in there. I really don't see why your numbers would come back low. Just keep picturing that little heart beat beating away at your next appt. When you do see it, ask if then can turn the microphone/doppler on. That's what they did for me and I totally was able to let the bad thoughts go away! Are you sure your not a writing major? If you published a book -I'd be the first one to buy it. I love how you express yourself. I think you have a new career in the making.
So glad to hear from you via the blog. I totally sat down to write you. Best news -the yolk sac is a huge development and inter-utero too.
