My mood while writing this blog: unsure |
So, I had my 16 week check-up at the doctors yesterday. Everything went okay until he measured the height of my uterus. He said I was measuring at my belly button, where most people measure at 20 weeks! He said my dates could be off, but I know when we conceived! It was a big oops on our part! He said it could mean twins! Yikes! Then he listened for the heartbeat and we definitely only heard one. So, probably not. I asked him if it could just be the way I carry, cause I tend to carry high, I did for my other three. He said possibly. Then he just said we will find out for sure at my ultra sound. But that isn't until April 15th! Anyone else measuring higher than your dates should be?
Also, the same thing happened to my sister. They said she measured 3 weeks ahead but everything leveled out towards the end of her pregnancy. I think it is just a family thing.
