I'm just posting about my latest ultra sound on May 13th. We wanted to find out the genders of the twins. I asked if she could put the genders of the twins in the report so I could find out at my next OB appt. She laughed and said that at the last ultra sound I didn't want to know. I told her yes, but we changed our mind.
So, she does the ultra sound and says she is pretty sure that she knows what Twin B is. But she said she isn't sure about Twin A. And that's it. That's all she tells me.
Now, she is done the ultra sound and sends me to the washroom to finally empty my bladder. She told me to come back to the room afterward to get my pictures. Well, she hands me the pictures and two envelopes, one says Twin A and the other Twin B. She says, these are little 'kits' we like to put together for the parents who want to know what they are having. I said thank you so much and then I walked out, I didn't open them right away. I decided to go straight to my husbands work and we could each open them together.
There is a little poem on the outside of each envelope that reads, "THE RESULTS ARE NOT FINAL, YET. YOUR EXCITEMENT WE SEE. SO HERE'S OUR BEST HINT AT WHAT YOUR BABY WILL BE...". My husband opens the envelope Twin B and pulls out a gingerbread cookie with BLUE icing on it. I opened the envelope with Twin A on it and pulled out a gingerbread cookie with PINK icing on it! So, to make a long story short, we are having a boy and a girl! I am so excited. I just hope that the tech. was right, cause she said it isn't 100%, and the doctor has not confirmed it.
I will be happy with whatever God blesses us with but this is really what I was hoping for. Anyways, I'm sorry I've rambled on so long.
