I had my first OB appointment on Wed. May 27th. It was so nice to see him again. He was my OB with my older three children too. He was super excited to know I was having twins, which makes me feel super excited too. He has an ultra sound machine right in his office and he showed me the babies. He said that they have a good membrane separating them which is wonderful. It means so much less risk for them. My OB also checked to see if a radiologist had confirmed the gender of the twins. And YES, we are having a boy and a girl! Yeah! I'm so happy about that.
Also, he let me know exactly how things with my appointments will differ from a singleton pregnancy. Basically, they do all their checks like the internal exam earlier since twin pregnancies often will go into early labour. Things like that.
Overall, I was very happy with the appointment. I like my OB and I'm very grateful for that too.
