14-1-2010 - Mirena-IUD

I'm curious if anyone else has gotten the Mirena IUD? I got mine on Dec 14th since I wasn't ready for my husband to get snipped...but we aren't sure if we want any more children. I've had bleeding off and on since the placement and the occasional bout of pain...nothing terrible, more annoying then anything. I've heard things both good and bad about Mirena, so I wanted to hear if any of you have had good or bad experiences with this...

i have the mirena and i have no complaints...the dr said i could have spotting and irregular bleeding for the first few months then things should start getting back to normal...the worst things I've heard about mirena are very unlikely to happen...just check for your strings once a month and you should be good!
