17-2-2009 - Best Husband and Burrito ever!

I have the world's sweetest husband. He works downtown...I work on the eastside...totally different areas of Seattle so our house is somewhere in between. There is this great little burrito joint called the Blue Water Burrito a short walk from his work that makes the best carnitas burrito. I haven't had one of these in months because it's just not convenient for me to meet him there on his lunch break very often. I've been dying for one of these burritos since mid last week. I asked him a few min ago if he would pick me up one for dinner...wouldn't you know, he already had one today, but he's offered to go and pick up 2 more for dinner for us. Keep in mind, he drives part way to work, than bikes the rest of the way in. So to pull this off he has to bike straight up a hill for 10 min to pick up the burritos, put them in his backpack than bike for now 45 min instead of 30 to his car than battle nasty Seattle traffic the rest of the way home. This will probably delay him incredibly on his commute home...but he was still willing to do this for me. And lets not forget it is Seattle and it's cold and very wet outside! Personally I think he is endulging me on this because it amuses him that in all of our pregnancies...this is the only time I've really had a strong craving for something totally inconvenient.

That is too sweet. Don't you just love how wonderful they can be? Mine has been especially helpful around the house these days. I just don't have the energy and he's been really pitching in a lot.
