| 18-2-2009 - freaking out |
My mood while writing this blog: worried |
Today I'm 8 weeks and I noticed something quite strange when I last went to the bathroom. I had a large amount of discharge that was very mucus looking, sort of clear/whitish/yellow and very sticky. There was no blood in there, but now I'm having some mild cramping. We lost our last baby at 8 weeks, so anything strange right now is making me incredibly nervous. Has anyone else experienced this...is it normal? I've put in a call to my dr office but they may not call me back until tomorrow...ugh...and my first appt is not until next Wednesday.

Friday, 20 Feb Oh...don't worry. That discharge sounds normal and the cramping could be implantation bleeding. Unless you see dark blood, think positive. I had two miscarriages in a row and then got pregnant with my now 16 month old son and he's just fine. Right now I'm pregnant again and I'm 24 weeks. Take care and rest and let us know when you get good news from your doctor. Hopefully they'll do an ultrasound right away so you can see the heart beating and all your fears will be put to rest. Sending you my prayers!! kira84 -
Thursday, 19 Feb I also had the same thing and I went to the ER, b/c I had cramping as well, but they said it is all normal. I am now just about 22 weeks and everything is fine. I will say some prayers for you that it is nothing for you as well. sandraandbaby -
Wednesday, 18 Feb dont worry. i clocked 8 weeks on tuesday and i also noticed the same thing from saturday. its normal and i read that its partof the cervical mucuos protecting the baby. so if anything, you should feel safe that your baby is being protected.
i understand the worry you must feel this period, but you have to calm down, not just for yourself bbt for the precious one youre carrying.
