09-3-2009 - strange dreams

My mood while writing this blog: sleepy

I've been having super strange dreams for the past few weeks...and I rarely dream and remember them ever! I'm not clear on many details of the dream except the one last night. I dreamed that someone came in to kidnap my son, but instead of taking him they moved him and his crib downstairs...than put a new crib upstairs and put a baby in there with Down's syndrome and just left him. I remember panicking trying to find my son and thinking that he was in some sort of horrible danger...so I moved him and his crib into our room once i found him...and I also remember taking the new little baby and wondering who he belonged to. I felt like this strange dream went on all night long...even when i woke up I always fell back asleep into the same dream. Consequently I'm exhausted today since it was not exactly quality sleep I was getting! I'm wondering if this could be due to the upcoming tests we are having done in 2 weeks...one of the tests is looking for Down's syndrome and has certainly been on my mind a lot.

Sounds like you are stressed about the genetics testing and about making room for the new baby and what that means to your son. I totally sympathize with you. Try not to worry about it in the mean time and take a nap today if you can. Best wishes!

I also just woke up from one where my husband was following our dead neighbour about. Talk about the creeps. Just prayed and prayed.

I have those tests coming up too, but so far I'm not having any anxiety about them. I'm looking at it like another chance to see my peapod and get some more pics!
