16-10-2009 - BFP!

My mood while writing this blog: thrilled

14 October 2008: I had to take a pregnancy blood test in the Dr's office early in the morning, but when I got home I decided to do a pee test. I wanted to be "prepared" in advance. I had a feeling that I might have been pg...and at the same time, I didn't want to get my hopes up and end up disappointed. But it was positive. I showed it to DH, who was in the shower, and we are both so surprised. The Dr's office called me later that morning and said that I am 4 weeks pregnat and that my level looks good. I go in for another blood test on 10/20 and if all is well, my first US will be on 10/30. With everything that we had to go through to get pregnant with Norah, we are just pretty shocked that we were able to conceive so quickly. I did have to do an HCG shot and some hormones (estrogen/progesterone) but we were on our own this month. If I didn't get pg, we were going to do IUI at the end of this month. WOW. We couldn't be more surpised, anxious, excited, nervous and hopeful all at the same time!
