04-9-2008 - ADALYNN'S 6 MONTH CHECK UP

Adalynn got her 6 month shots and check up yesterday and I have got to say.... #1 she did amazing! Her shots went so smoothly-she barely made a sound, and # 2....the doctor said Addy is in great health! She weighed 16.9 pounds, so she was in the 60% for weight...and she was 27 and1/2 inches! A long girl. She was in the 94% for height! Amazing for a preemie! She is my strong moose :) I am just so happy she is doing so well, The doctor also said her head looks great (considering I thought her head was flat) Her heart murmer is gone! Her hips are no longer clicking and she is just doing so well developmentally. Yay for Addy! She is truley amazing! I really hope that all of her check ups go this well. The first check up they were so worried about her eyes and tracking. I went to see a developmental specialist and was also told to make an appointment with a pediatric ophthalmoogist. It really had me nervous scared and worried, but now her eyes, ears, and it all has turned out great!

Yay!!! Congrats on all of the good news! Question...Anelise's shoulder and hip/leg click all of the time. Is this something I should worry about??? It doesn't seem to hurt her...but it freaks me out every time it happens.
