12-1-2009 - 3D/4D scan

My mood while writing this blog:
Nervous/Excited

Ladies....
I booked our 3D/4D scan for this saturday @ 10am and I am sooooooo excited!!!!
We had a gender scan at 22 weeks and found out that we are having a beautiful lil girl...AVA.
However I keep having this reoccuring dream that at the next scan there is suddenly some lil boy parts there.LOL and we then have to go back to all the stores and swap all our pink stuff for blue!!!
So we are taking the opportunity to have the sex confirmed on saturday as well as seeing our beautiful lil peanut on screen..YAY!
Has anyone heard of anybody having a gender scan after 22 weeks that turned out to be incorrect? ????????
I have heard of a few women who found out the sex before 15 weeks and then turned out to be the opposite......any input is appreciated.
Nothin but luv and well wishes to you beautiful mommies to be & of course a few beautiful mommies who had early arrivals. xoxoxoxoxoxox

I've just discovered that there is a place in perth that does the 3d scans after all and i'm sooooo tempted to book in for one :-) Please post your photos once you get yours done on Saturday.

hey, i was the same when i was preg with my son, i didnt find out i was preg til i was 5 months, i had no symptoms at all, still had periods etc, i went for a scan thinkin i was 12 wks but was actually 22!!! anyways, i was adamant i was having a girl for some reason so i went out and bought EVERYTHING pink only to have a scan a cple wks later and be told it was a boy. im sure u will be fine hun it only happens in a small majority of places and some parts of the country wont even tel u wot it is in case of that!!! ul be fine dnt wry xxxx

I feel the same way! I haven't washed any of the clothes yet-I'm so afraid she will turn out to be a boy! I have another u/s in two weeks so I'm hoping to get a final confirmation-then I will start washing clothes!

4d's are amazing! I haven't heard of that happening, but my husband would love it if it did. He was in denial that it was a female, even after it was confirmed, three times! But yeah hopefully you get a lil girlie! good luck sweetie :)

Let us know all the details. I have my 4D on the 20th and I am excited. They didn't offer those with my last 2 kids....It would be bad to find out you was having something different this far along...I guess it can very easily happen....God bless

I have been extremely worried myself as well. We have had 2 scans before 21 wks that said it was a boy. So our next one at 35 wks I intend to ask them again to confirm. I hate to try and gather so many receipts to return all of this blue and boy stuff.

I'm sure that the scan on Saturday will let you know for definite if it's an inni or an outie! I have heard of people being told they were having girls at the scan only to find out during the birth that it was a boy instead. Doesn't happen really to be told boy and then find out girl later.
