My mood while writing this blog: Ok |
Hi Ladies,
Hope you and your bumps/babies are doing well.
I am on the countdown to induction day....only 2 days to go. I am so nervous all the time, cant think about it without feeling sick....total fear of the unknown.
Have family and friends coming around the day before for a BBQ which is St Patricks day so hopefully that will keep my mind off wed.
Have to be in the hosp for 7am on wed morning to get started with the induction....arghhhhhhh.
Dont get me wrong I cannot wait to hold me lil princess in my arms but I am so scared about the labour part and have heard soooooooooooooooo many horror stories about inductions and very few good stories.
Sorry ladies just had to vent....feel a little better now.
Lots of luv to you all.
xoxo

Sunday, 15 Mar I had my induction 2 weeks ago today and although I have nothing to compare it to, it wasn't all that bad. No matter what you will get through it and when it's all over, you'll be amazed at the strength you posses. Good luck and enjoy your princess! scottishkate -
Sunday, 15 Mar Hey hon, i'm totally with you on the whole nervous thing. I'm hoping to go by myself before Thurs but if not, thats when i go in to be induced. I'm getting an epidural before they even start on the pitocin on me! haha. My aim is to have the most relaxed labour possible. Hopefully they can do the thing where they wear it off before the end so that i can feel the baby to push out. I'm totally shitting myself about the whole thing as last night i really thought something was happening, but this morning - nothing! I feel quite sick and emotional today too. Ah well, not long to go now honey. We'll have our bubs in a matter of days now. Can't wait to see yours :-)
Lots love, Kxxx katey25 -

Sunday, 15 Mar Don't be scared or nervous! They have great docs in Dublin and they'll take care of you guys really well. My labour and delivery was awful over here but I lived to tell the tale and next time I'll be doing it in Dublin for sure! Get the epidural early on!!! The epidural didn't hurt me at all to get and people say that after they got it it was easy going. I'm dying to see pics of the only other baby with proper Dublin roots on this site that I've come across! You'll be great!! Just think positive and you'll be holding your little girl soon! terry -
