April 29,2008 8 week appointment

Was my first prenatal appointment. I saw the nurse practioner. She was nice and went over all the information she needed as far as family history on both sides. We had been through this before. It was also time for my PAP so she did that and prescribed me a prenatal. She gave me a bag with lots of info on what to expect and medicines I can take and cant take, and some free samples of my prenatal pill. I asked her about listening to the heartbeat and she said it was too early. I asked her about an ultrasound and she said I would get one at 20 weeks. I asked her if I can have one early because of having a miscarriage, she said it wasnt necesary and that this pregnancy is different then that one. My next two appointments were made and I was on my way.
