Well I went to the Dr's on thurday. My blood pressure was up. The Nurse practioner ordered blood work and for me to collect a 24 hour urine to check for protein. I did that Sunday night and went to the lab Monday morning. I got a phone call today and she said that my urine was high for protein and to come in to the office and be prepared to be sent to the hospital for observation. Well I got there and my blood pressure was normal. They did an ultrasound and everything looked good. They decided not to send me to the hospital and that I can be monitored at home. I have to check my BP 2 times a day. The Dr will call me friday for the readings. I am to do another 24 hr urine Sunday and go for blood work monday and see her again Monday. She sent me to the labor and delivery floor to get a steriod shot to help the babys lungs mature just incase I have to deliver early. I have to go back tomorrow for a second shot. She also gave me an excuse to be out of work. I am happy about that and think that will help my situation. Thank God I have short term disability so I will still get some money coming in.
