My mood while writing this blog: Happy but exhausted

Well....tomorrow I will be starting my 28th week. Wish it were 38th! Ha! But...my husband and I go in tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. to do our 4D Ultra Sound. I'm pretty excited to see what Miss Maranda looks like and of course know that she is doing well!!! Also, I go back to see my doctor on Wednesday at 11:10 a.m. He had me come in at three weeks instead of four. I'm hoping this time, he will want to see me in 2 weeks, which will make me very happy!!! In addition, I can tell that I am getting bigger. I really do not have the energy to even shop for my baby girl. :( Sad, huh? It's been over 100 degrees for the last week and a half here in Arkansas. Also, my feet have been swelling so much and so have my ankles. When they swell they sweat....sounds gross but it's the truth. On top of that the tops and the bottoms of my feet are swore to the touch, I guess from the swelling.

Finally.....Friday ended up being unpleasant. I have a boss that doesn't care that I am pregnant and was extremely difficult about me asking if it was okay to try to elevate my feet why I am at work. She pretty much had a problem with it as well as my needs of walking around the office occasionally because my back is hurting so much. I can't be confined to my cubicle. The HR manager was excellent about it and I knew that she would not because she is never supportive of me. I think she doesn't like me. I'm not for sure why. I'm dependable, friendly, I get all of my work finished. She never has a problem with the quality of my work. I've been with this company for seven and a half years. Since being there, I have received my Associates Degree and just received my Bachelors Degree in December of 2007. I personally think she might be jealous or something. She is close to her 60's and has no degree and when I mentioned that I was pregnant, she was like, "I want to have a baby too!" And...she was serious about it. She doesn't like people giving me attention about the baby and coming by my cubicle to talk to me about my baby. She also is the type that doesn't like good things to happen to other individuals. She gets mad and jealous if something else happens to someone else. She should be grateful to have good health, a husband that loves her, a job, a family, and a home. What else does one want in life? I'm extremely happy and feel blessed to have this miracle in my belly. I thank God every day what he has given me as well as my husband, my home, my health, my family, and my job. I truely think my boss would love it if I didn't come back so she could go ahead and hire someone else to take my place before I leave for maternity leave. I plan on taking three months off.

Well...wish me luck tomorrow and with my boss!!! Pray for me!!! And I'm serious! Finally, I will be posting my 4D ultrasound pictures tomorrow. I think Miss Maranda will look like her father. He has beautiful eyes and check bones. :)
