Wow!! I just felt my first real kick.. not just a flutter. I didn't have my hand on it but I don't think it was strong enough to feel from the outside. It (I still don't know what it is..i'm so tired of saying it) did it several times in a row! I told my husband right when it happened...he's jealous because I told him it will be at least a few weeks after the first time I feel it before the kicks will be strong and consistent enough for him to have time to get to me and really be able to feel it from the outside.. Then..(I have to explain what I was doing)..I was messing with my dog..I have a really crazy jack russell terrier..and she was getting all spooked like she though she heard something outside, so I waited until she relaxed again and was just barely dozing then I barked(yes, barked) at her, really short and high pitched like a chihuahua or something..it's really funny when I do that because she comes out of a dead sleep to standing straight up in like half a second, ears all perked and alert. .. But this time when I did it, I guess I scared the baby too, because it kicked again!! I read that when the baby's hearing develops loud noises can startle it. So I got tickled about it (don't worry, I won't be doing that all the time to scare the baby into moving..that's just mean. but it was funny as an accident) and then I called my mom to tell her, then I had her put my dad on the phone, and then my little sister!! I still have a week until I get to find out what it is. I can't wait until I can say "he" or "she!" ..ya'll wish me luck!!
