I posted the below in the TTC forum this morning but wanted to post it in my blog as well for those that may not have seen it.
I was browsing through wiki.answers.com this morning and came across this question and answer and thought it might be helpful to others.
Q: How long does it take for sperm to reach your cervix?
A: The end of the cervix is in the shape of a spoon and will collect sperm right away. Sperm can take a minimum of 45 minutes to travel to the egg. Sperm have a maximum of 72 hours to fertilize an egg, at which time they will die if they do not complete their mission.
