| 14-5-2009 - 17 Week Update | My mood while writing this blog:Sleepy |
I was stressing at last nights prenatal appointment, the midwife was having a really difficult time finding little bean’s heartbeat, it took her about 5 minutes before finding our little one. After wee one FINALLY reveled him/her self, DH and I got to hear the wonderful sound of baby's beating hear at 158 BPM. I was shocked that I’ve only gained 5 pounds thus far, especially seeing as I’m constantly eating with this pregnancy. Everything is good with Baby and I, we scheduled the anatomy ultrasound for May 28th, I’m feeling like a child anticipating Christmas…I want to know Baby #2’s gender and call him/her by their name.
I’m having major preggo brain, I swear the placenta is sucking the brain cells right out of me. DH told me that he’ll do the thinking for the two of us and I just watch after DS and “bake” the baby, if it weren’t true I probably would have been insulted. Last Friday I took a package to the post office, I walked into the post office carrying DS but leaving the package in the car, walked up to the counter and announced I wanted to mail “this” package. Got a concerned look from the postal employee, and then quickly realized what I did…I MISS MY BRAIN
Here’s a little laugh for you all, I took DS, Benjamin, upstairs the other night to get ready for Bed, he was having a temper tantrum, I heard the door bell ring and since John wasn’t home I decided to leave Benjamin upstairs instead of having to fight him to get him back upstairs again. I was downstairs for maybe a minute or two talking to our neighbor and then out of the blue, Benjamin became eerily quiet, I told my neighbor I needed to go upstairs and find out what’s going on and she was more then welcome to follow. I searched the bedrooms and couldn’t find him, started to freak out, noticed out from the corner of my eye movement in the bathroom, turn on the light to find Benjamin fully sitting in the toilet bowel with the BIGGEST smile a mischievous little boy could muster up! I don’t think my neighbor laughed that hard in ages and of course that story circled around our neighborhood in no time, John found out about it before I was able to tell him.
