| 02-9-2009 - 33 Week Update | My mood while writing this blog:Happy & Thankful |
Woot, Hayden has rotated into the head down position just like I suspected from last weeks back pain and the change of kicking locations, I can’t tell you how happy I am to know that I’ll be getting my wish of another natural child birth! I’ve gained 20 lbs thus far, 3 ¾ lbs in two weeks, can’t imagine how that happened as I sit here eating a bowl of ice cream L, my blood pressure is good (101/65) Hayden’s heart rate was 142 bpm, he’s measuring 32 weeks but my midwife still wasn’t concerned and said a lot of that is probably do to me being 5’11”, I’m able to “hide” my pregnancy since I have a long torso.
I had a scare this afternoon, DS and I went for a walk, we walked to the nearby farm to see the moo-moo (cows) and quack-quacks (ducks), he reached out to touch the electrical fence, I quickly went to stop him and accidently touched the fence with my fingertip. I felt the shock the whole way through my body, I immediately began freaking out fearing I just electrocuted my baby since I wasn't feeling movement. I rushed home, called DH and he told me to lie down for half an hour and if I didn't feel the baby move call the doctor. THANKFULLY I felt movement after 20 minutes and luckily I had a doctor’s appointment tonight, the midwife said he sounded and felt fine but if I was still concerned they could send me over to triage for a stress test…I declined since I was getting strong kicks after the “shocking experience” and the midwife didn’t seem concerned.
