18-10-2009 - 39 Weeks and 3 Days

My mood while writing this blog: Ready for delievery but baby isn\'t!

I’m falling behind on my OB blog updates, I’ve reached that point where every morning that I wake up and don’t feel any signs of labor I wonder how much longer this little boy plans to stay inside of me and if I’m going to be the next Discovery Channel documentary “Womb Sweet Womb”- the boy that refused to be born.

At my last appointment on October 13^th, I’d gained 28 lbs thus far with this pregnancy which is the exact amount I gained when I delivered my first son, Benjamin’s birth weight and height were 8lbs 4 oz, 20 inches. I’m 4 cm dilated, Hayden is super low and the midwife thought I would go into labor the night of my appointment or at least last week, well…here I am in a new week and still pregnant! I’ve tried so many of the old wives tales in hopes that I can induce labor naturally, I’ve finally reached the conclusion that they are all hoaxes and he’s going to come when he’s fully cooked so I should just sit back, relax and enjoy the last few days of being a mother of 1.
