23-10-2009 - who are your real friends?

My mood while writing this blog:
annoyed...

i want to know what is wrong with people!!! as if i have o feelings or i dont exist anymore!! i seem to apparently have a sign somewhere that says "PLEASE DO NOT INVITE ME TO ANYTHING!!!" THis would be the second bridal shower that they "forgot because they didnt think i would want to go, because i am pregnant!" i am still a friend right??? when my friends are pregnant i dont forget or ignore them! :0( this is seriously so sad! i feel like i have like cooties or something! :0( i hate to think that i thought these people i call my friends would just pass me by! i am just so so sad!

Honey I know exactly how you feel. My supposedly best friend from high school was getting married 2 months after I was to have my DD. She made me get fitted for a bridesmaid dress when I was 8 months preggo, then after I had Hannah we went to her bridal luncheon and she sat me at a table by myself while she sat across the room with the rest of the bridesmaids. She said it was because I had Hannah and she didnt want to crowd everyone adding a highchair to her table. So I got up and left. Dont let it get to you! True friends dont act like that.

People are so rude, they should have invited you if they were your true friend. Maybe their envious of you being pregnant? You never know with woman..they can be so petty and crazy. Don't let them stress you out hun. Also is it possible you were invited and maybe your invite got lost in the mail? If your close to the people that have forgot you on their list, I'd probably say something to them. I'd let them know you were hurt and would never want to miss their special day.

I've been feeling like I'm losing friends too.. You're not alone! Any single unmarried friend I have, has no relation to anything I'm going through so it's hard to be friends with them. Our lives have taken such different paths it's kinda forced us to part! And a lot of my married friends or friends with children have come back into my life now that I'm in the same boat as they are! It's weird how life works that way! Kinda cruddy!

That stinks :( And it's a bridal shower! Not like they were going to Vegas or something. That's just rude. I always invite my friends to everything and some of them have multiple children. You just have to come up with ideas to entertain young ones. I'm sorry people are excluding you. :(

i know how u feel, this started for me with m first and now its just gotten worse, they may send me a text or something that says "o we should hang out" but then whenever something fun is happening they "forget to call"

I feel the same way not cuz I'm pregnant but cuz I have a boyfriend. Both of my best friends are single so when they go out they don't invite me cuz I have a boyfriend. They figure "ur busy with him". But they know my boyfriend works every other weekend but they still don't call me to see what I'm doing. It's makes me upset. So u can just imagine now that im pregnant.

I'm sorry! I know exactly how you feel. When I had my first son, it was the same way, suddenly I never got invited to anything anymore, and if I ever mentioned it, the response was always, "oh, well, I didn't think you'd want to come" or "oh, well, you can't drink anyway..." We can still have fun though! And shouldn't it be our decision if we want to go or not?
