Tired but excited

10.8.09 [16 weeks]

So I figured I might as well start updating with this pregnancy, so I have something to read down the road hahah. I’m 16 weeks now. I’ve had an ultrasound (I need to get the pics up!) and you can definitely tell I’m pregnant. I think my belly popped around 10 weeks this time! It’s as if, the minute your body feels you’re pregnant, POP! You have a belly. My daughter, Alyvia, doesn’t know what’s going on yet. She just thinks that I have a big squishy (the top part anyway hahah. Yes, I’m chunkier this time around) and she likes to poke my belly button. I’m wondering if she’ll understand as time goes on, before the baby gets here? Kamil and I will show her my belly and point to it and say “baby”. She repeats it now but she doesn’t know really what a baby is yet. She seems them around and she LOVES looking at them, but I’m sure she doesn’t understand quite yet. I think she’ll be kind of excited when she “gets her own baby” at home… Until she realizes it’s not leaving! Haha! Don’t know what I’m having yet – I think I’ll find out sometime next month (November). I can’t wait! Everybody at work and around me keep asking if I know yet and it’s getting a wee bit annoying. I’m working this time around too and it’s really weird for me. My first trimester working was really hard because of how sick and tired I was. Now it’s not so bad. I don’t have as much energy as I would like but at least I can do what I’m supposed to. I think I’ll be able to work for a while! Maybe not til I go on maternity leave (or just quit hahah) but at least for a few months more! I need to do a bit of my studies before I head to bed and it’s 1:25am. And I want to get up kinda early with Alyvia. I bought some “fall” crafts for us to do and I’m pretty excited :D just the foamy paper and then fall stickers. All I have to do is peel off the backing and she can stick the thing wherever she wants on her paper. Yay \o/
