| 04-2-2010 - 33 weeks | My mood while writing this blog:tiiiiired |
Had my appt today.
Only gained ONE POUND! WOOOO! Much better than gaining SEVEN!! So that puts me at a total of 20lbs gained this pregnancy. I gained 39 with my daughter, so I'm hoping I don't go any higher than a total of 30 this time.
Everything looked great - blood pressure was... 98/60? Something like that.. she said it was normal. Baby's heartbeat was... I think 139 (hahah sorry, I can't remember anything!) OB asked how I was feeling, if everything was going ok. I said "yea... besides the fact I can hardly MOVE!" He just grinned and said "yea... that'll be getting worse." GAH! Another 7 weeks of this?! I don't know if I can make it!
Luckly, I'm not working anymore :D I get to stay at home with my daughter from now on, which doesn't call for as much physical work from me, but still - even rolling out of bed to pee in the middle of the night takes me at least 5 mins and it hurts bad. I have to have my husband put my shoes on for me most of the time, cuz I can't bed over - he's been doing dishes (that was his job in the first place, but now he does it alllll the time) cuz I can't stand up for too long. I get sooo uncomfortable if I'm sitting for too long, so I'm constantly moving, trying to relieve hip and back pain.
Hah.. it seems all that happens in the last 10 weeks is COMPLAINING! I try not to complain too much - I did a lot the first time around, but that was because it was all a brand new experience for me. Just like my hormones... didn't know how to control them. This time, I know what to expect - how I'll feel physically, emotionally and mentally - and I'm able to control my outbursts and complaining a lot easier. But still!
I still don't think my daughter (20m) really understands what's going on. She knows there's a baby in mommy's tummy - she's felt him move - and she'll lay her head on my belly, she'll pet it, kiss it, hug it... It's SO CUTE. And I'm sure once she sees him, she'll be excited to have a baby... until he comes home and she realizes he's here to stay and he's not leaving!! Ahhh we'll see. She's pretty well behaved (unless she doesn't get her way... hahaha) so I'm sure she'll do alright with him :)
Good luck to those of you that are pregnant!
